Episode 33: Frost Sensitive Plants and Deciduous Conifers

 

Temperatures outside are dropping; the season of frosty days and frozen nights is upon us. Casey describes what happens to frost sensitive plants in your garden as soon as the first frost hits. It’s not a pretty sight. Luckily, before the frost hits, there is still a chance to save your precious last tomatoes.

Speaking of tomatoes, Casey demonstrates how to save tomato seeds in the following video:

Not all coniferous trees are evergreen. A handful of them actually have needles that change colors and drop in the fall just like broad-leaved trees and shrubs. Daniel shares a few examples.
