Episode 64: Succulents and Squirrel Mating Season

 

Succulent plants with their puffy leaves and interesting colors and forms are understandably trendy. But hipsters and houseplant fanatics aren’t the only ones interested in these fascinating plants. Daniel shares a bit about why they are an important subject of study in the scientific community.

Then, it’s time for another Squirrel Corner. In honor of spring, this one’s all about baby making. Casey describes the process – from two squirrels meeting to the hairless result and beyond. The squirrels are multiplying, and the world is cuter as a result.
